Generally stable conditions, but be careful in the alpine, especially where wind deposited slabs are thin or soft, a slab avalanche is easier to trigger here. Keep in mind that even small avalanches can have consequences if you fall into rocky terrain.

You can trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Snødekket er preget av mye vind fra sørøst og høye temperaturer. Under skoggrensa er det tynt snødekke og skare. I fjellet er det mer sammenhengende skiføre, men rygger og vindutsatte områder er isete eller snøfrie. Mildvær mandag har påvirket overflata opp til 1400 moh.

Avalanche risk assessment

Skredproblemet finnes høyt til fjells i skjermede formasjoner. Det vil generelt kreves stor tilleggsbelastning for å løse ut skred. Vær oppmerksom på at selv små skred på isete overflate eller tynt snødekke kan medføre alvorlige konsekvenser på grunn av oppstikkende stein. Øst i regionen, ved Strynefjellet, kan fokksnøflakene være lettere å påvirke.
